Cordouan Lighthouse
Discover Cordouan Lighthouse, the so-called “King of Lighthouses” and “Lighthouse of the Kings.” This trip will transport you in France History. You’ll have the unique chance to approach this “Versailles of the sea,” now inscribed on the List of World Heritage (UNESCO). This is the last manned light of France. Here, guard take care of the sailors and are living all year long in the jewellers of patrimony, built between 1584 and 1611 and classified history and heritage since 1862. The building is 68 m high and has a chapel and a royal apartment, even if none of the sovereign has ever slept here.
Conditions to tide level is sometimes possible to make a stop over on the sand bank.
